What does Stina owe us?
I'd happily PM her with that question, if I thought there was the remotest chance of a straight answer. 
I have a feeling this one is going to remain mostly a mystery, but it's good to know at least that Stina wasn't behind the decision to close the board.

... Even if that wasn't possible for some reason - I can't think why, but she may have had some legitimate objection - why not just leave the board as an archive? It's still there now, so clearly there is no problem with leaving it up. Why delete all the content, all the posts we'd made over such a long time, all our conversations? I dunno - deleting it all strikes me as an emotional act, something indicative of upset. I could be completely wrong of course, but it's hard to come up with any other logical reason for totally eradicating all the content.
anybody tried ordering something from cqd? the presumably small stock of albums could have been flogged off on ebay by now, so there is no real reason for holding onto the website at all when all that's left is two week's worth of confused posts on a mini-forum.
perhaps it was a deliberate attempt to make cqd's death as mysterious as everything else connected to the organization?

That's the first I've heard of Stina having a hand in trying to save the board.As RobB says,it's what he felt from something that was said,so not a lot to go on...
I'd have thought that if Stina really had a desire for a forum to continue,she might have put in her threepenceworth here by now...
I guess V?ronique might tell us all someday when the dust,whatever it was,has settled.
