Collaboration with Stina released as single

Stina Nordenstam has delivered the beautiful, mellancolic vocals for the title track off our album "Into The Wasteland". It will be the 2nd single and will be added to danish radioplaylists sometime next week.

There is a video being finished right now, directed by Kasper Bj?rke (Filur) and Kenneth M?ller, and old friend of Kaspers, who is also an Art Director.

Finally several remixes are on the way, by Buda (Banzai Republic), The Emperor Machine (Andy Meecham from Chicken Lips) and more...

Thanks for the news Paul.

At least this release will mean that we can access Stina's contribution without having to fork out for the album.

The news item didn't make it clear but I assume Stina will be in the video!

Actually RobB,you can already buy the track from iTunes for 79p.
But for the old-fashioned among us (or just plain old

) it's not the same as a physical copy is it?

Not only is it not the same as the touchy feely CD experience, it'll be a horriblycompressed DRM-riddled runt of an audio file.

Get the CD and rip it if you must.

Old and old-fashioned i think.

I would like to put up an argument about not having to listen to music shoved down telephone wires and instead have my music on something physical to play in my cd player or on my record deck.

But of course even the music i listen to on cd and records still has to be shoved down wires (albeit shorter wires) to my speakers so its always going to be a no-win argument.

But if i've spent hundreds of pounds on decent hi-fi hardware then i'm gonna want to hear the music is best quality possible so that'll do for my argument on hearing music on factory produced software.

.........plus you get a nice booklet and cover into the bargain.

I agree, having an actual CD in your hands is always much better than downloading. (and CD's always have better quality but that's not the point)

I asked Helen of V2 Music about where the single will be released and if Stina would appear in the video. Below is her answer.

I have a question.

In the iTunes store, you cannot purchase music from a different country than the one you're registered in. So, since I'm in the US, I cannot purchase the Filur single from the UK store.

Is it possible for someone in the UK to buy an iTunes gift card, sell it to someone in the States to purchase UK iTunes mp3s?

Just trying to buck the system.

Or, I guess I could just wait until the single comes to Amazon.
