The book was a firm favourite when i was very young (it may even have been my very first book read having graduated from comics?) and its a book i've occasionally returned to as an adult.
No film is ever going to be as good as the book because no film on screen can live up to one's own imagination thats created from the words on the page.
But this film comes close and i've really enjoyed watching it again.
In fact i've seen it three times since the weekend.......but two of those viewings was with the bonus commentaries playing.
The next film to be made in the series will be 'Prince Caspian' which was less popular as a story with me. It'll be interesting to see how the film fares.
Anyone else seen the film?......read the book?......worn the t-shirt?
