Planet Earth (2006)

I just saw this stunning series about our planet; i think it was the fourth episode, about life in the deserts. It's visually amazingly filmed and really made me realize how beautiful and well 'made' our planet really is. The way nature has found ways to deal with harsh conditions (like being without rain for fifty years) is really amazing and made me think that human's inventions aren't really that special; it's just our way to deal with our own self-made environment

SO if you can tune in to this program; i watched it on german tv (ARD) monday evenings at 21:00. I think originally it was on BBC and even in HD!

The new season has started on BBC so tune in every sunday evening on BBC1 at 9pm. Still amazes me to see this so beautifully shot and well narrated documentary about the wonders of this earth's natural world..
