Hehe,no,not what you were thinking re Xmas.

Rather a catalogue of gloom,namely the last dates we heard from various members here before they vanished.
Sometimes I think there's a conspiracy afoot and someone is going around bumping off Stina fans.What was that old movie? 'The List of Adrian Messenger'?

I visit every day, practically. I've just nothing to say, most of the time. I think Stina fans are a pretty diverse bunch... I'll say more in the other thread.

I'm not qualified to speak on behalf of anyone else of course but ireally do think that the sudden closure of CQD did knock the stuffing out of a lot of people and raelly just sapped their energy and enthusiasm for this forum.

We voluntarily turfed ourselves off the Barbie Board and somehow manged to keep everyone together for CQD despite initial misgivens of several members.
But even if we'd have stayed we would be homeless now anyway.

But in time we managed to create another friendly, enthusiastic community at CQD but the prospect of having to go through all that upheaval again, for a third time, I think was just too much to ask.

well i am here on a regular basis to read every thread.. but i've never been that talkative or actively responding (may 11th last time? my god!)

Sorry for the longish silence folks - looks like I've missed some serious discussion about the future of the board. I'm a bit confused as to what's happening; is the board closing or continuing?

No I haven't changed my username, Wirbel.

As Dave quite rightly points out, even if I did you'd all know it was me anyway.

I've been offline again since October, just got back on yesterday with a broadband connection so I'll be around if the board is staying up. I've just started my new round of studying for this year so I'll probably only be popping in when I need a break from the Enlightenment, but hope to find you all still here for the forseeable future.

Yeah, I was gonna say...people go online and offline...it's not really a reliable system in life. I didn't have access to the internet all the times I've disappeared. Other than that I visit everyday as a habit with the Blonde Redhead, Juliana Hatfield and Epoxies boards.

Alot of time I have nothing to say...

I after an artist board changes 3 times or more they lose track and forget also...
