I don't know, I thought it was quite an interesting year, and I'm a Stina fan. Maybe I don't care enough.

btw. 10-15 Euro/month for a forum , isn't that really expensive?

Alex,whatever happens,will this board be archived in some shape or form? The worst thing about the deaths of Barbieboard/CQD was that everything disappeared forever....

So, 2007 is here; let's hope for a better Stina year, allthough 2006 wasn't completely without Stina news because of the collaborations and such...
I'd be happy when the forum, if it closes, is being saved somehow, so we can at least read back the past, unlike CQD.

Of course there's a 'distinct' group of people here, but it's not too personal subjects, so i'm sure new people could easily fit in. I think it's more the problem that people are not so interested in an artist that doesn't bring out much news and material. But I personally also enjoy being able to meet other people here with the same music interest and learn about many other artist and interesting topics here. I wouldn't know some of the artists i really enjoy now if it wasn't for this board...

I'm sure a Stina board will continue to exist, but I hope it will be this one.
I'm hoping the best for 2007!!

Personally I had a pretty good Stina year.
Highlights were getting hold of the 'Magasin' project s/t-which I love;
the mega-rare 'And the winner is' which I think is one of Stina (and arranger Jonas Nystrom's) finest moments;
some rare videos and tracks courtesy people here;
and various magazines/articles/posters etc at auction.
I also have had an email correspondence with a key musician in Stina's career,which I'll report here in due course...

But the lady herself has been invisible other than the Filur track.

how will we get ANY stina news without Desire Avenue?! it's basically the only place we can find out information about Stina, and how will we even know when she releases her next album without a label or this website??

When 'The World is saved' was released CQD was Stina's official mouthpiece, although for some strange reason,there wasn't much news leading upto the album and none at all once it was released.

But with CQD gone,I'm quietly confident Stina will have another website in place to compliment the release of her next album.

took me long to say something and reply, and I still can't decide myself about the answer.

Even if older ones are less involved than in the past, this message board is important for us as a place to come back to and share things, thoughts, music, etc. with (virtual) friends. First. And our love to Stina's music too.

It's important to have a place, whatever and wherever it is, to meet and speak about this all.

To answer the question, more money could be possible, or even maybe a place to host the message board, more time, well, maybe. To participate more, I can't really tell, life goes on, things change, I'm much more occupied than before, and not alone either.
So I vote YES, but...

Oh, actually, reading again the first post by Alex, I think I can help to admin (I run other sites with message boards I administrate...) and also maybe to create a nice special theme.

a little update: the actual database is too big to be moved on another server on the Free.fr server easily

I spent hours to try to migrate the current database and it crashed all the time... I even splitted each tables to small files but Free.fr crashes when I try to import files bigger than 2Mb to the database...
One more reason to move to a paid server.
