Does anyone know whatever happened to her? She put out an album in 1996 called Beecharmer which I absolutely love and worked with Silent Poets in 1998 on two tracks, Love Runs Fast and Cherry Tree, also did some work with Caroline Lavell. The last I heard she was touring as the backing singer for The Waterboys....

I always hoped she'd record another album...

Ooh I know Caroline Lavelle! I have her first album William Orbit produced, Spirit.

Don't know Ingrid though, i'll have a listen sometime

I have that Caroline Lavell album too!!! Interestingly Ingrid Schroeder provides some vocals on it too, can't remember which track though....

Ingrid Schroeder's album was produced by Howie B, DJ Muggs (of Cypress Hill), and Goldie. It was a strange sound at the time, but it has aged really well. Thankfully the Goldie produced track Waterbaby was quite restrained and not full on jungle. There is a beautiful song on it called Not A Day Goes By, which is well worth hunting down if you can find it...............................

Just to be a copy-cat.......I have that Caroline Lavelle album too!

....plus the one after that 'Brilliant Midnight 2.0' (which was a better album) and the one after that, 'A Distant Bell', which was less successful I think.

Ingrid sang on 'Forget The Few' from 'Spirit'.

I can.This forum is packed with people who like vaguely indie female vocalists to the exclusion of virtually all else.

Good question that which definately deserves a good answer

........only you're not getting one so you'll have to put up with a crap answer..........I don't know.

Apparently it was just a re-issue with 3 more tracks, but i could have sworn i remember something being said about the tracks being re-mixed or something.

on topic: I downloaded Bee Charmer and i like it alot! It's quite 90's trip-hop but nice none the less

it is like she fell off the earth though, there's no info about her anywhere.

It's a really good album that never got noticed at the time and has been forgotten totally. I have a rather good non-album track off it called Backbone and an alternative version of Waterbaby which is more rhythmic.

Shame she disappeared.....

Back to Caroline, none of you would happen to have the Eye of the Storm mix from the Moorlough Shore single, would you? There's a clip of it in place of the LP mix on her website discography and it was the reason i bought Spirit in 2005
