Just got her new album Overpowered and absolutely love it, it's a really good mix of electro soul pop, plus she looks brilliant on the cover eating her chips dressed like a flump hehe

But is it as good as 2002 era Moloko???

It's brilliant stuff, I've had it booming all weekend (it's been almost 40 degrees here )

It's as good as Moloko, if a little different in style, has more in common with the fabulous Statues album era. Nothing like the fantastic Ruby Blue, but in this case that is not a bad thing either!

I was told by a mate of mine that we were sitting behind a couple of members of Moloko at an Audrey Reilly performance in London about 6 years ago........I didn't (and still don't) have a clue who they were.

Moloko were a very successful group from the mid 1990's to early 2000's.

i really loved Ruby Blue and i was in love with Overpowered for a while in June, so i'll try and snag a copy soon.

It's got that great electro synth sound that Erlend Oye's album has, I love it. It's certainly given the neighbourhood a break from Siobhan Donaghy and UNKLE!!
