Greg Weeks (Espers, The Valerie Project, infinite collaborations and productions) will be playing a show in Haarlem at Patronaat this Friday the 7th, supposingly the only show in the Netherlands. On saturday the 8th a surprise gig has popped up in Tilburg, where I live. It will be in CUL DE SAC at 21h, Festival will be playing with him. Free entrance.
I wouldn't miss it if I were you...if you need more info just let me know.
"Greg Weeks is een Amerikaanse singersong-writer, afkomstig uit Philadelphia. Zijn muziek wordt omschreven als folk, acoustic, psychedelic en experimenteel. Hij is beter bekend als lid van de folk-rock band Espers.
Ook is Weeks lid van The Valerie Project en heeft hij gastoptredens gedaan met vele artiesten, waarond Fern Knight en Marissa Nadler.
Met zijn nieuwe plaat, The Hive, heeft hij een luisterpaal notering gehad op de 3voor12website. Geen kleine naam dus.
