Anyone going to WOMAD?

Anyone going? If you are,come and find me.I haven't worked at WOMAD for a few years but I will be over the w/e, doing workshops with other musos towards the big procession that all the children do at the end on Sunday-and playing in the procession,of course.
I haven't really been keeping up with world music of late,but WOMAD is great for Internationalism and there's bound to be some great acts who nobody has heard of.
My son is already there,gone with his mates' family-he's really looking forward to doing lots of drumming workshops from different cultures.He's at that great age where he just swallows things whole,and really gets into wherever he is.Wish I could be like that... :I :mrgreen:

You'd better hope your son doesn't swallow the drums whole then? :mrgreen:

Its a great shame that the Writtle show is no more,it was a convenient place to meet up.
