Why do you think it sucks? Apart all the stupid questions people always ask (there should be a twin FAQ) I feel like I'll never be alone, 'cause I wasn't born alone.kuhn wrote:
I'm a twin too. It sucks.
I love this Arbus sentence: "Freaks was a thing I photographed a lot ... it had a terrific kind of excitement for me... Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks are born with their trauma. They've already passed it. They're aristocrats".
Great quote!puce wrote:Why do you think it sucks? Apart all the stupid questions people always ask (there should be a twin FAQ) I feel like I'll never be alone, 'cause I wasn't born alone.kuhn wrote:

It sucks, or rather suckED, because some people - back then - only looked upon me as one of the twins - not as an individual or independient being. Now it's no big problem - and I haven't even seen my twin since 2001.
Haunting Bangkok holiday
This just sums up Bangkok for me:

11.04.05 1134 hrs. Smoky morning just out of bed...
"The essence of the image is to be altogether outside, without intimacy, and yet more inaccessible and mysterious than the thought of the innermost being; without signification, yet summoning up the depth of any possible meaning; unrevealed yet manifest, having that abscence-as-presence which constitutes the lure and the fascination of the Sirens" (Blanchot, Camera Lucida, Barthes. pg 106)
