Karin Dreijer / The Knife

I was listening to Royksopp's new album 'The Understanding' few weeks ago and i was stuck to the track 'What else is there' for days, it's such an amazing song! Then i wanted to find out who is this woman singing in this song and i found out that she is called Karin Dreijer. After searching in the internet (mostly in Swedish & Norwegian pages) i found out that she was in a group called 'Honey is cool' and later on in another group called 'The Knife' and also made an album called 'Deep cuts' i think...
I downloaded a few tracks from this album and i think they have a pretty good sound!

What i wanna ask is: The Knife are the same "knives" that remixed Stina's Parliament Square? And if yes, was that a good idea to distort Stina's voice like that?

And also for those who already know this group: In their album the first track and single 'Heartbeats' is also featuring in an advertisment for flat TV screens (can't remember the brand right now...) but it's sung from a guy. Do you know maybe the guy who covered the song?

yes, "what else is there" is a great song, and i found out the same stuff as you; cannot say i like the Knife that much though, but it's interesting they did a Stina remix

The guy who covered the song 'Heartbeats' is Jose Gonzalez, pretty good cover, i bet you'll like it!
