Poppy? yes. But there's something about the lyrics that catch me. A little morbid or dark sometimes, which sets the band apart from the kind of pop i dislike. I'm sure some of you guys have heard of the band. Anyone like them?

I know that Jenny Lewis, the lead singer, is pursuing a solo career, but i haven't heard anything of it yet. I bought the 2 Rilo Kiley cds after hearing them in a friends car. I like them both, but there are more songs on the Execution of all THings that I like. However I sure as hell don't regret buying "More Adventures" for the 3 or 4 songs i love on it. I NEVER get tired of listening to "Portions for Foxes".

A band I can't help but love. Truly have their own voice in my opinion. Saw them live in London last year, one of the best atmosphere's at a gig ever.
