I've stopped smoking for various periods of time over the years - once for almost nine years straight - but the demon weed always gets the better of me eventually. Last January I gave up again, lasted till August. So I gave up again yesterday, but I've relinquished any hope of ever being able to beat it permanently. The best I can do is go for as long as I can each time.
My main resolution for this year is to leave home properly.

My husband has been remarkably patient thus far, but I think if I don't move ALL my stuff into his place soon, and quit spending so much time in my old home, he'll be giving me my marching orders.
Other resolutions - to get myself more organised in my studying (hah!), and stop wasting time with things that aren't important any more, whether it be people, ideas, or habits. Tough one.
