Actually you can retrieve old CQD pages through Google-if you can find a suitably obscure Search term which will narrow the field down.Obviously they have a cache of each page.The other day I Googled 'Magnus Shoval' (author of totally obscure single that Stina legendarily sang BV on) and got up the CQD Forum thread on that subject.I've found a few others too,but it's a long way around,and if it's just a general thread like 'who's your favourite band' it'll take a lot of searching.
Very nostalgic though

Hey, is that the same 'Magnus' who's writing with Stina on 'The Dialogue'? Interesting find though and kinda odd that you can view these pages 'in cache' on google and not normally when you log in to CQD which is still possible

Magnus is a pretty common Scandinavian name.
For all we know Stina might have been communicating with Magnus Magnusson (Rob and Elizabeth at least will know who I mean).

and I got 651 pages! going all the way back.Great except:-
- you can't read following pages in a thread consecutively,and
-you can't read RobBs posts at all because they're light yellow on a white background.

Nearly all 6550 of them!!

cqd would like to ask all of you to come up with your interpretation (story, poem, photo) of one of the new song titles we'll be publishing this week.

we would then choose the best one or two best entries per title. that way, we can make a book, along stina's tracklist, which is somehow a visual interpretation of the titles. when we then put the titles in the album order, we'd have a visualization of the new album.

we'd start the book with the cadavre exquis, and end the book with the last paragraph of that story, written by stina.

we'd like to have all inputs by beginning of september, so we'd be closing the ftp-site somewhere on august 17th, with all inputs afterwards being sent by email or surface mail.

when we have all these inputs, stina will join cqd to make a selection, see what she feels like adding, and create the overall artwork, so we can then take the book to a printer in september.

What I forgot to say is that you have to click on 'Cached' for each link.
Very nostalgic reading all that old stuff.
And what's become of some of those folk?
