Ten Most Hated Films!

Mine are (in equal order of dreadfulness):

01. The Sound Of Music (Am I alone in wanting to throttle the nun?)
02. Miss Congeneality 2 (just god damn awful)
03. The Butterfly Effect (Dude! Where's My Memory)
04. Signs (pious, and the worst aliens ever put to celluloid)
05. The Passion Of The Christ (just plain offensive on so many levels)
06. Alexander (YAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNN)
07. Love Actually (Yes, middle England, no stereotypes here, no sir!)
08. The Chronicles Of Narnia (Let's find the most annoying children in the UK and ram them down your throat with a fist full of treacle)
09. Salo (it's not clever, it's immoral, it's exploitive, it goes waaay beyond too far, it has no point other than to shock, no No NO!)
10. Star Wars Episodes 1,2,3 (George Lucas, have you not brought enough to the sci-fi genre and made enough money yet? Please god let there not be another 3 films of CGI crap. Plus these films have no point if Carrie Fisher is not in them running around drug f**ked thinking she's really there....)

I've only seen TSOM out of those.I'm totally allergic to Narnia,Harry Potter,Star Wars etc so I won't be seeing them.
Actually I went along to a singalongaSoundOfMusic last year for a friends birthday,and it was a great laugh.I got lots of compliments from women dressed in my nun's habit .People even came dressed as puppet goatherds complete with strings.I hadn't seen the film since I was 8 or so.
As I said somewhere else,I've only ever walked out of one film and that was The Cook,The Thief...etc.Yuck.
And I hate most Hollywood 'earnest' films.... like Kramer vs Kramer,for eg.

I'd struggle to list ten films I hate. I have a feeling that might be because I tend to dislike particular genres, so I just avoid watching anything in that style.

I only ever walked out on two films:-
1.The Devils-I'm not a religious man ,but even i was disgusted by seeing nuns being violated with crosses
2-Lord of the Rings 1-I was so looking forward to this,being a huge lover of the books,but the bombastic orchestral score gave me such a headache that i left during the interval.I ve never seen 2&3 for the same reason.My kids love these films ,but theyre banned in my house.Even the Play Station games have this terrible (i hesitate to say music).
As for TSOM,i've made it my lifes objective to never see this film [:xx]

I cant be bothered to find the time to think of 10, but the film I was most disappointed with is undoubtedly Gus Vant sant's 'Elephant' 2 hours of self indulgent pretentiousness and boredom of the most excrutiating kind, and when one considers the subject matter that is quite an achievement.

I seriously disliked Kill Bill and Sin City, but there's a lot crappier movies (see IMDB's worst ever list) that i just try avoid watching; allthough we one time picked one that was in the top 10 and just watched it for fun; it was hilariously bad (one by Uwe Boll, definitely one of the worst directors...)

Uwe Boll is just so dreadful it's amazing he still gets budgets to make films. My god Alone In The Dark was so so terrible, the things you have to sit through, 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back!!!!!

Although I think 'hate' is too strong a word, one of the films i've seen which I really disliked was a Johnny Depp film called something like 'Fear and loathing in Las Vegas'........something like that anyway.

I didn't hate it but it was total rubbish from beginning to end. Even my girlfriends daughter (who must be the worlds biggest JD fan) had trouble sitting through it.

Strange !!!Ilove this film,the way the story interweaves and the Autumn colours make my eyes smile .My one complaint is that its too short,Its actually only 81 minutes long

I think your view is pretty much shared by all those who do like the film.....which is a good many.

But as someone who has never even had a single puff of a cigarette then obviously its not a film that does very much for me.

I can't make a list like that, 'cos we regularly watch not so good films (at home), but there's one we saw at the cinema that bored us : Gus Van Sant's 'Last days'. Found it pitiful, really.

I really love "Elephant", but "The last days" was one of the most boring movie I've seen in my whole life.
